In the past, the design process has been based on manually created drawings, the processing of bills of material and a manual cost calculation. When using the new and unique item Machining Tool, these boring and time-consuming steps can all be consigned to the past. This online configurator ensures users can track down the right profile in a matter of seconds using the item Profile Finder. The Finder allows users to filter by product characteristics and also carries out bending and buckling calculations, thus effectively eliminating the risk of over and undersizing. Once the right profile has been selected, the user can place fasteners and other accessory components in the optimum technical position via drag&drop. This includes precisely specifying connection processing steps such as the drilling of through holes, stepped bores and threaded bores. Integrated 3D technology is used to perform direct visual checks on the profiles and various positions, which helps to prevent the placing of incorrect orders. Customers benefit from clear efficiency gains throughout the entire engineering process.
Simple, logical and available round the clock
The item Machining Tool can be used on any end device and does not need to be installed. Once users have logged in, they will be able to see prices. When a complete profile with fasteners and accessories has been selected, configured and ordered, articles are dispatched within 72 hours. The Tool also generates project documentation for all the process steps and positions automatically. This can then be used as a basis for production and follow-up orders.
